Owners John and Jennifer Garrett launched the first edition of Community Impact Newspaper in 2005 with three full-time employees covering Round Rock and Pflugerville. The award-winning newspaper now has 22 hyperlocal newspapers in Texas covering 34 communities and supported by more than 180 employees. With a total mailed circulation reaching more than 1.7 million, more residents receive a Community Impact Newspaper edition than any other publication in Texas.
